ILLEGAL structures used for online scams and gambling activities in the Shwe Kokko and KK Park areas of Myawady Township, Kayin State, have been continuously demolished, and related equipment has been systematically destroyed by combined departmental teams.
A seven-storey illegal residential building in the Shwe Kokko area was reportedly demolished yesterday using controlled blasting.
Of a total of 77 buildings identified for demolition in the Shwe Kokko area, 57 were designated for mechanical demolition and 20 for controlled blasting. Of the 20 buildings scheduled for blasting, one seven-storey building was demolished yesterday using controlled explosives.
To date, a total of 63 illegal buildings used for online scam and gambling activities have been systematically demolished. The remaining 14 buildings will continue to be dismantled in accordance with established procedures.
