A ceremony was held yesterday evening at a local battalion in Homalin, Sagaing Region, to warmly welcome back frontline Tatmadaw soldiers who returned after completing operational and security duties in Chin State aimed at ensuring national stability and regional peace.
The welcoming
event was attended by officials from the Homalin Garrison, departmental
officials, members of the Myanmar Police Force, the Myanmar War Veterans
Organization, locals, and students.
The returning
soldiers, who had served day and night tirelessly on the front lines to ensure
the safety, security, and peaceful livelihoods of citizens across various
regions and states, were warmly greeted by attendees holding auspicious Thabyay
(Eugenia) sprigs, accompanied by Ozi and Dobat (traditional Myanma drums)
troupes, as well as music and dance performances.
