THE Myanma Railways operated DEMU air-conditioned passenger express trains 3Up/4 Down and 5Up/6 Down for the Yangon-Mandalay-Yangon rail-way starting May 2026. Due to strong passenger demand and popularity, a modern air-conditioned DEMU express train, 9Up/10Down, was introduced starting from 1 June 2026, according to the following schedule:
