Oral hearings in Gambia versus Myanmar continue

THE International Court of Justice (ICJ) holds oral hearings in the case The Gambia versus Myanmar from 12 to 29 January in the Hague, the Netherlands. The first round of oral arguments in Myanmar was held from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm local time yesterday.

U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for the Ministry 2 of the President’s Office, made the opening speech. (His speech is expressed separately.)

The fourth presentation by The Gambia was from 10 am to noon local time on 15 January, and the lawyers of The Gambia made the final presentations.
