Ceremony held in Nay Pyi Taw to mark 105th National Victory Day




The ceremony to commemorate the 105th National Victory Day was held at 9 am yesterday in the meeting hall of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw.

Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein, Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Minister Dr Zaw Myint, permanent secretaries, responsible officials, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area education officer, district and township education officers, headmasters and headmistresses, teachers, and students attended the ceremony.

Students from No 11 Basic Education High School in Nay Pyi Taw opened the ceremony with a rendition of the song We Shall Not Forget National Day.

Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein then read out the message sent to the ceremony by the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, to mark the 105th National Victory Day.

Students from Basic Education High School No 6 in Nay Pyi Taw later sang the song Nagani (Red Dragon), bringing the ceremony to a successful close.
