AS of 25 June, the death toll has risen to 3,768, with 5,104 injured and 38 people still missing in six regions and states of Myanmar that were severely affected by the powerful earthquake which struck on 28 March.
Members of the Myanmar Fire Services Department, along with local and international search and rescue teams, have been continuously conducting timely operations in affected areas. Up to now, 653 survivors have been rescued from collapsed buildings, and the bodies of 846 deceased individuals have been recovered.
Further announcements will be made regarding the ongoing donations of cash and relief items from generous donors both locally and abroad to support those affected by the disaster.
