Myanmar participates in AMMSTI 21

THE Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw, arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 18 June to attend the 21st ASEAN Ministerial Meeting of Science, Technology and Innovation (21st AMMSTI).

On 19 June, the Union minister attended the dinner that was celebrated for the ASEAN Ministers of Science and Technology.

On 20 June, the Union minister attended the opening ceremony of AMMSTI 21.

At noon, the Union minister joined the meeting and discussed the topic of “Empowering ASEAN’s Science, Technology and Innovation Ecosystem: National Commitments for Regional Impact through APASTI 2026-2035”.

Myanmar delegates: Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Dr Sai Kyaw Naing Oo and Director-General of the Research and Innovation Department Dr Phyu Phyu Win attended the 87th ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Committee meeting and its related meetings.
