Myanmar delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives in Russia, heads to Belarus

 

At the invitation of Mr Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of Belarus and Rotating Chairman of the EAEU, a high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing departed Myanmar yesterday morning by special plane to attend the 4th Europe-Asia Economic Forum (EEF 2025) in Minsk, and was warmly welcomed in the evening at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk by Governor Mr Travnikov Andrey Aleksandrovich and other officials.

The Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region held a friendly exchange of views on enhancing economic cooperation between Myanmar and the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation, fostering ties with ASEAN countries, expanding air travel services, and developing the tourism sector.

Following the meeting, the State Administration Council Chairman and Prime Minister and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region exchanged souvenirs.

Afterwards, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister departed from the Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk to the Republic of Belarus, where they were greeted at the airport by the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region and officials.
