The Union-level MSME product exhibition and competition marking the 78th Anniversary Union Day entered the sixth day in Tabaung Ground near Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday and crowded with ministries’ staff, families, MSME entrepreneurs and people.
Yesterday was a
public holiday and due to the overwhelming public interest, the event hosted a
large crowd of visitors. The organizers also decided to extend the trade fair
by two more days.
The event
featured booths of traditional food from different states and regions, MSME
products, vehicles and motorcycles, the edible oil dealers’ association, the
Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and
cooperatives association. Moreover, it showcased information and technology,
business connectivity, traditional food and banking services.
The visitors
observed all the booths and the in-charge clarified the data in detail.
Moreover, the MSME products, ethnic traditional costumes and souvenirs were
also at cheaper prices.
All the
galleries also played songs depicting the traditional cultural dance and
customs and raising patriotism and notional spirit to forge unity between the
people living across the country.
In the evening,
the ethnic traditional dance troupes performed actively, and the people also
participated in dancing and singing events.
The exhibitions
and competitions will continue on 16 February.
