SAC Chairman Premier Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla offer day meals to religious title recipient Sayadaws, nuns

 

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla yesterday morning offered day meals to members of the Sangha who will receive religious titles for 2024 at Agga Dipati Sasana Beikman in the precinct of Maravijaya Buddha Park in Nay Pyi Taw.

Before offering meals, the Senior General donated alms and offerings to the Maravijaya Naungdawgyi Buddha image in the Beikman building.

The Senior General and his wife donated offertories to Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Thanlyin Minkyaung Sayadaw Bhaddanta Candima Bhivamsa, SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and his wife Daw Than Than Nwe to Secretary of the SSMNC Mandalay’s Masoeyein Taikthit Maha Patron Sayadaw Dhamma Thameikdi Monastery Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Maha Dhammakathika Bahujana Hitadhara Bhaddanta Vasettha Bhivamsa, the SAC Secretary and wife, the SAC Joint Secretary and wife, and council members and their wives to the religious title recipient Sayadaws.

The wife of the Senior General also offered alms to religious title-recipient nuns.

After the ceremony, the Senior General, his wife and party offered day meals to 108 title recipient Sayadaws and two nuns at home and from abroad led by the Chairman Sayadaw and the Secretary Sayadaw.
