MoPF Union Minister instructs staff to meet tax targets in specific financial years

 

DEPUTY Prime Minister Union Planning and Finance Minister U Win Shein met employees of the Planning Department, Central Statistical Organization, Myanma Economic Bank, Myanmar Agriculture Development Bank, Myanmar Insurance, Internal Revenue Department, Customs Department, and Pension Department at the office of the Internal Revenue Department in Lashio, Shan State (North) on the afternoon of 9 September.

At the meeting, the Union Minister instructed the employees in Shan State (North) to implement annual projects to meet targets, ensure accuracy in statistical data collection, collect tax targets in relevant financial years, conduct educational activities to ensure that taxpayers understand levying taxes and willingly pay taxes, perform tasks in accordance with laws, rules, regulations, and procedures, pay attention to security issues, coordinate with other departments, carry out their duties in unity, and provide comprehensive support for the development of MSME enterprises.

Later, the Deputy Prime Minister coordinated the employees’ submissions.
