MAHN Nyein Maung, a State Administration Council Member, met local people, political parties and organizations at Aung San Hall, Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State to explain the arrangements for free and fair multiparty general elections, aspirations for peace and changes in political landscape, on 10 September.
At the same time, SAC member Khun San
Lwin also met Pa-O ethnic people at Ahara Thukha Dhammayon of West Hteelon
monestry, Hteelon Village, Hlaingbwe Township.
He explained the government’s
performances for peace, economy, social, health and education. He also
expressed his appreciations for the preservation of traditions by Pa-O ethnic
and encouraged them to continue such efforts while contributing to their human
resource for the benefit of their area and the nation.
