Four people slain; one house ravaged in Taze Township

 

ONE man and four women were killed and a house was set on fire by terrorists in Taze Township (in pictures).

The incident took place at 12:20 am on 15 December in Taze Township. Most of the villagers fled the area as terrorists entered the village.

U Kyaw Soe and his family members, who are elderly and have difficulty moving, fled the scene. While hiding in their homes, armed terrorists broke into their homes and shouted with anger.

Next, they were brutally shot and the house was set on fire.

U Kyaw Soe and his family members, including Daw Khin Hlaing, were killed in the brutal killings. Daw Hlaing Soe and three others died in a house fire, while Daw Gyan Taw and Daw Khin Swe Myint died of gunshot wounds on their bodies.

A wooden house owned by U Kyaw Soe was destroyed by fire.

Security measures are underway to identify and arrest the terrorists.
