148 IDPs receive 2nd COVID jabs in Buthidaung Township

 

THE second dose vaccination of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine was given to displaced elderly people aged 65 and over in the IDP camps at Gandari Philanthropic Monastery in Buthidaung Township, Rakhine State, from 8 am yesterday.

Before the vaccination, healthcare staff and officials made records for the vaccinated people during the vaccination.

Next, volunteers and healthcare workers measured the body temperature and blood pressure before the vaccination.

Vaccines were given systematically to elderly people, and only those with normal conditions are vaccinated.

There is a total of 470 people from 87 households in the IDP camp and 206 people will receive the COVID-19 vaccination, officials said.
