Union Constitutional Tribunal receives Australian university delegation

U Kyaw San, member of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, received a delegation from Australia’s Monash University led by Senior Lecturer Dr Lennon Yao Chung Chang and with 19 university students in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, U Kyaw San explained the judicial administration throughout Myanmar’s history, law enactments, standards of fairness in judiciary matters included in the 2008 Constitution, and the tribunal’s role. He then replied to questions from the excursion group.
