Union Information Minister arrives back from ROK

THE delegation led by Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint arrived back in Yangon yesterday after attending the ‘ASEAN-Korea Train’ programme in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

The ‘ASEAN-Korea Train’ programme was jointly organized by ASEAN-Korea Centre and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of ROK to mark the 30th anniversary of ASEAN-Korea dialogue.

The Union Minister was accompanied back by Deputy Permanent Secretary U Myint Kyaw, Head of International Relations Department of Yangon University Professor Dr Chaw Chaw Sein, Executive Committee member of UMFCCI Dr Soe Tun, Actor Myo Htut Naing (a) Khar Yar from Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, Member of Ayeyawady Region Youth Affairs Committee U Myo Thura Ko Ko and Mandalay Region Youth Affairs Committee Thant Lwin Oo (a) Su Sha Shin Thant.

The delegation was welcomed by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Mr Lee Sang-hwa and officials from the Ministry of Information at the Yangon International Airport.
