Union Chief Justice attends opening of Mandalay District Court Building

UNION Chief Justice U Htun Htun Oo opened a new Mandalay District Court building in Mandalay Region yesterday morning. At the opening ceremony, Mandalay Region Chief Minister Zaw Myint Maung, Region Hluttaw Speaker U Aung Kyaw Oo, Mandalay Region High Court Chief Judge U Soe Thein and mayor Dr Ye Lwin cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the new district court building.

Next, Union Chief Justice U Htun Htun Oo pressed a button to unveil the signboard of the district court building and inspected the new building with the Region Chief Minister and officials.

Afterwards, Mandalay District Judge U Kyaw Kyaw Oo and Diamond City Company Limited Chief Engineer U Tin Maung explained about the new building and transferred documents related to the new building to the District Judge. After the opening ceremony, the Union Chief Justice accompanied by the Ministry of Construction, Department of Buildings Director General inspected the construction of Mandalay Region High Court Building.
