UNION Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr
Win Myat Aye and Ambassador of Canada to Myanmar Ms Karen Mac Arthur discussed
yesterday afternoon providing humanitarian assistance and repatriation
programmes for displaced persons.
During the call at the ministry, they also held talks on
bilateral cooperation in human resource development, early childhood
development programmes, child rights, social protection plans, possible
measures on closure of IDP camps across the country, preparations for drafting
a national policy and future cooperation between the two countries.
