Schools reopen in Kyaikmayaw as flood water recedes

ALL the schools have reopened in Kyaikmayaw Township, Mon State, on 7th September as the water level of Attayan river have returned to normal.

About 20 schools were temporarily closed in the first week of this month as the river burst its banks for the second time in this monsoon and flooded nearby areas.
The Township Education Office is also arranging substitute classes at these schools.
