MYANMAR Football
Federation (MFF) executives, officials, and the chief coaches of the national
football teams met yesterday at the Novotel Yangon Max in Yangon to discuss the
preparations for international matches.
During the
meeting, the chief coaches of the national football teams detailed matters
pertaining to the teams’ readiness for international matches, including SEA
Games, Asian matches, and ASEAN matches.
Miodrag
Radulovic, the head coach of the Myanmar national football team, reviewed the
strengths and weaknesses of the team against Mongolia and Japan, and detailed
the present condition of the team, and the objectives for the World Cup
qualifiers, AFC qualifiers, and AFF Suzuki Cup. Then, the head coach of the
Myanmar women’s national football team, U Win Thu Moe, spoke about the matches
played by the team and the results, efforts to take part in more international
competitions, the condition of ASEAN football society, and the current level of
the team. U Htay Myint, the head coach of the Myanmar national futsal team,
spoke about the team’s preparations for the ASEAN Championship, international
competitions, and training.
Mr Velizar
Popov, the head coach of the Myanmar U-23 football team, discussed the team’s
preparation for the SEA Games, the current condition of the team, friendly
matches, and training.
Afterwards, U
Soe Myat Min, the head coach of the Myanmar U-19 men’s team, spoke about the
team’s preparation for the Chinese Taipei Invitational Cup and aims for the AFC
qualifiers. Daw Thet Thet Win, the coach of the Myanmar U-19 women’s football
team, also detailed the team’s preparation for the AFC U-19 Women’s
Championship. Daw San San Thein, the coach of the Myanmar U-16 women’s football
team, outlined the strengths and weaknesses of the team and the achievements of
the players.
MFF executive U
Min Min Hlaing, technical committee chairman U Than Toe Aung, women’s football
committee chairman Daw Khin Sabel Kyi, and MFF technical director Mr Eric also
covered administrative matters at the meeting. Then, MFF President U Zaw Zaw
delivered a speech. The meeting concluded after a question and answer session.
