International Democracy Day organizing committee holds coordination meeting (5/2019) with working committees

THE International Democracy Day Organizing Steering Committee held a coordination meeting (5/2019) with working committees at Pyidaungsu Hluttaw at 3pm yesterday.

Present at the meeting were the Committee Chairman Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Aung (a) U Tun Tun Hein, the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung, members of the committee and officials. At the event, Deputy Speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw said that the meeting is the last one ahead of the International Democracy Day celebration and that the working committees have done almost their tasks. He then urged to discuss the remaining matters for decisions. Afterwards, the chairmen and secretaries of working committees explained about their plans and accomplishments, followed by the suggestions of the attendees at the meeting. The meeting was concluded with the closing remark by the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker.
