AN opening ceremony of 13th Biennial Convention of the ASEAN Neurological Association (ASNA) in Conjunction with the 4th Biennial Myanmar Neurological Conference was held at Melia Hotel, Yangon yesterday morning.
The ASNA convention was held biennially in ASEAN countries and this was the first time Myanmar was hosting the event.
At the event Ministry of Health and Sports Permanent Secretary Dr Thet Khaing Win delivered a speech on behalf of Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe.
Next ASEAN Neurology Academy Chair Prof. Chang Hui Meng and Myanmar Medical Association’s Prof. Dr Win Min Thit delivered messages of greetings.
Afterwards, the opening ceremony was concluded with Permanent Secretary Dr Thet Khaing Win, Prof. Chang Hui Meng and Prof. Dr Win Min Thit sounding the gong and took commemorative group photo.
The 13th Biennial Convention of the ASEAN Neurological Association (ASNA) was attended by neurologists and experts from ASEAN countries as well as countries such as Australia, England, United States of America and South Korea.
