DEPUTY Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun inspected
Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) offices in Magway, Minbu and
Aunglan townships and Minbu TV transmission station in Magway Region.
He arrived in Magway Region Government Office in the morning and
met with Regional Ministers Colonel Min Oo, U Tin Ngwe Oo, U Myint Swe and
officials. He discussed preparation for General Youth Development Festival
which will be held next summer. He also observed the Magway University.
He went on to inspect Minbu TV transmission station and
community centre at the Minbu District IPRD. In the afternoon, the Deputy
Minister inspected the IPRD in Aunglan.
He gave instructions to keep the building clean and strong
enough to withstand the occupants of the building, and urged keeping up with
changing technology while working for the development of region. He also asked
to carry one’s duties with admiration towards the country. A general round of
discussion then followed.
