Against Corruption (UNCAC) on 20 December 2012, the Anti-Corruption Law was
enacted on 7 August 2013, and the ACC was established on 25 February 2014.

Thailand and Burundi In Review Cycle 1 while it reviewed Togo and Cambodia,
said U Aung Kyi. He said they have successfully implemented the recommendations
from the first cycle.
The second review cycle
will review the implementation of preventive measures and the criteria for
asset recovery outlined in the UNCAC, said U Aung Kyi. He said they conduct
knowledge sharing projects, seminars, educational shorts and news releases to
combat corruption. He said they have published the ACC’s code of ethics,
especially the Strategic Plan against Corruption (2018-2021) where they set annual
projects for implementation.

be invigorating to know that Corruption Prevention Units (CPU) are now tasked
at every Union Ministry in following with the Political Will of the Union
Government. He said they collaborate with domestic and international
organizations for combating corruption as well as with regional anti-corruption
groups. U Aung Kyi urged everyone to cooperate on publishing the country review
