Union Minister for Commerce receives Assistant US Trade Representative, US Ambassador

Union Minister for Commerce Dr. Than Myint received Mr. Karl Ehlers, Assistant US Trade Representative for the Office of Southeast Asia and Pacific, and Mr. Scot Marciel, US Ambassador to Myanmar at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed promoting investment and trade based on bilateral friendship, improvement in trade and investment after signing the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement between Myanmar and US, future cooperation between the two countries, speeding up and smoothing trade and more investment in manufacturing sector using Myanmar agriculture products.
