Rakhine
State Peace and Stability Supporting Committee will report short-term and long
term plans to the Union Government after meeting with local authorities and
collecting basic facts in the state.

Aye Tha Aung, Chairman of the Committee and Deputy Speaker of the Amyotha
Hluttaw, said in his opening address of the first meeting of the committee in
Nay Pyi Taw yesterday that the committee will hold talks with local authorities
and work for reducing conflicts in Rakhine State.

Affairs Minister U Zaw Aye Maung, Representative of Rakhine State Hluttaw U
Maung Maung Ohn and U Nyi Hla Nge discussed the short-term and long-term
projects for bringing peace and stability to Rakhine State.
