At the meeting, the Speaker expressed his delight for being able to meet with local people, saying that he came to Myawady to fulfill the needs of local people as he was elected by the people of Myawady.
The Speaker also pledged to work for the people dutifully and to help the people so that they can overcome obstacles.
The visit of Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than came at a time when the Hluttaw was in recess.
The Speaker gave comments and advice to the officials concerned to ensure coordination over the issues raised by the people.
Following the meeting, the Speaker also met with people from Htichaya Villagetract at the Htichaya Village monastery in Myawady.
During the meeting, the Speaker thanked the people for giving him advice and sharing their experiences, adding that he would fulfill their needs the best way he can.
He met with departmental officials and attended to the requirements for development works such as education, health, transportation, electricity, and water supply.
Local residents from Kwin Kalay, Htichaya, and Pulwepu village-tracts attended the meetings.
