A ceremony to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on information sector cooperation between Republic of the Union of Myanmar Ministry of Information and Philippines Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) was held at the PCOO meeting hall yesterday afternoon. Union Minister Dr. Pe Myint and Philippines PCOO Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin M. Andanar signed and exchanged the MoU.
Later a Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister Dr. Pe Myint met with Philippines PCOO Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin M. Andanar and high ranking officials and cordially discussed bilateral cooperation on media and information.

Myanmar Ambassador to Philippines U Win Naing, PCOO Under-Secretaries
Marvin R. Gatpayat, George A. Apacible and Loraire T. Badoy and
officials, it is learnt.
