Union Minister for Home Affairs
Lt-Gen Kyaw Swe met senior officers and 44 officers transferred to the
Anti-Narcotics Task Force at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Home Affairs
yesterday afternoon.
The union minister said that the new officers were
specifically recruited from other police force branches in order to reorganise
the Anti-Narcotics Task Force so that the task force can conduct its work and
take action against those involved in drug-related cases, regardless of their
status and stature.
The meeting was attended by Deputy
Minister Maj-Gen Aung Thu, Chief of Myanmar Police Force Police Lt-Gen Aung Win
Oo, senior police officers, transferred senior officers and officers, it is
learnt.
