President
U Win Myint separately received two outgoing ambassadors, Hungarian Ambassador
to Myanmar Dr. Peter Jakab and Ireland Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Brendan Gerard
Rogers at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During
the meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador, they discussed promoting diplomatic
relations and friendship between the two countries, Myanmar democracy and
national reconciliation processes, and promoting investment between the two
countries.
During
the meeting with the Ambassador from Ireland, they discussed promoting
bilateral relations, providing humanitarian aid and Myanmar democracy and peace
processes. Also present at the meetings were Union Minister for Union Government
Office U Thaung Tun, Deputy Minister for President Office U Min Thu and
responsible officials.
