Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Ohn Win
received Chairman of China Huaneng Group Co. Ltd. Yuan Xianghua at his office
in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During
the meeting, they exchanged views and discussed matters related to the
hydroelectric production capacity of Myanmar, especially prospects to generate
hydroelectric power on Shwe Li River, and the environmental and social impact
assessments for the production of hydropower.
