Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker receives Danish, Belgian Ambassadors

Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat received the Danish Ambassador H.E. Mr. Peter Lysholt Hansen at 1p.m at the Pyithu Hluttaw guest hall, at the Pyithu Hluttaw Building in Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday afternoon.

At the meeting, they exchanged views and discussed matters relating to providing assistance in enacting and amending laws appropriate to a democratic system and assisting in the peace process.

Similarly, Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat received Bangkok-based Belgian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Philippe Kridelka at 2 p.m yesterday afternoon.

During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to promoting friendship and cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, investment and economic development and amendment of laws.

Present at the meetings were Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Aung @ U Tun Tun Hein and officials from the Pyithu Hluttaw office.
