President
U Win Myint received Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political
Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Mr. Wang Zhengwei and party at the Presidential
Palace, yesterday morning.
At
the meeting, they discussed and openly exchanged views on bilateral cooperation
in all sectors, One Belt One Road, promoting bilateral relations and
cooperation, and Rakhine State matters.
Present
at the meeting, along with the President were Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win
Khaing Than, Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin, Deputy
Minister U Min Thu from the Office of the President and other officials, while
the delegation led by the CPPCC Vice Chairman was accompanied by Chinese
Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Hong Liang.
