Myanmar National Human Rights Commission and civil society organizations meet

A meeting between the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission and civil society organizations on implementing the suggestions accepted by Myanmar during the second round regular Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the human rights situation of the countries of the world was held on 5 March 2018 at the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission office.

The meeting was attended by the chairman and members of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission and representatives of civil society organizations.

At the meeting the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission Chairman delivered an opening speech and commission member U Nyunt Swe explained briefly about UPR and the suggestions accepted by Myanmar. Afterwards representatives of civil society organizations participated in the discussion.
