the invitation of Parliamentary Network on the World Bank & International
Monetary Fund (PN), a delegation led by Deputy Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker U Aye
Tha Aung departed for Viet Nam from Yangon International Airport yesterday
evening.
The
delegation was seen off by Yangon Region Hluttaw Speaker U Tin Maung Htun,
Deputy Speaker U Lin Naing Myint, Viet Nam Ambassador to Myanmar Dr. Luan Thuy
Duong and officials from Amyotha Hluttaw office.
Representatives
of Pyithu Hluttaw Daw Thet Thet Khaing and U Thaung Aye also followed U Aye Tha
Aung. During the visit, they will meet with officials from IMF and World Bank
at the World Bank Office, chairpersons of the National Assembly of Viet Nam,
Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Finance of Viet Nam and
Ministry of Industry and Trade, and they will attend the WBG projects.
