State Counsellor receives Executive Director of UNEP Mr. Erik Solheim

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr. Erik Solheim, Executive Director of UN Environment and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw on 6 February 2018 at 10:00 hours.

During the meeting, they discussed matters pertaining climate change, strengthening possible cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiatives. They also exchanged views on various sectors such as recycling technology, waste management, developing agricultural sector, and renewable energy.
