Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of
the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received the (61) member-delegation of
Chief Executives Organization (CEO) which is composed of the international
businessmen, at 12:00 hours on 20th February 2018 at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During
the meeting, the State Counsellor discussed Myanmar’s efforts on
democratization, national reconciliation, peace process and the situation in
the Rakhine State. Afterwards, the State Counsellor answered questions related
to investment opportunities and possible cooperation on various sectors such as
education, media, health, culture and environmental conservation.
Also
present at the meeting were U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International
Cooperation, Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of
Planning and Finance, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of
Electricity and Energy, Permanent Secretary and Senior officials from the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
