Union
Minister for Defence Lt-Gen Sein Win welcomed the newly appointed co-chairs of
the United Nations (UN) Country Task Force on Monitoring
and Reporting (CTFMR)
at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence yesterday.
The
co-chairs, UN Resident Coordinator Mr Knut Ostby and UNICEF Representative in
Myanmar Mr June Kunugi discussed matters related to preventing the recruitment
of child soldiers and other humanitarian cases with the union minister.
