The

council members, members of traditional medicine advisory groups, traditional
medicine producers association members, representatives of local
non-governmental organizations, and about 400 states and regions conference
delegates. The organizing committee needs to work together with sub-committees
systematically for the success of the conference. Although much experience has
been gained from the past conferences, all need to strive hard so that nothing
is missing, said the Vice President.

committee chairman and Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr. Myint Htwe
explained about the works conducted so far to achieve good results from the
conference.

committee secretary and Ministry of Health and Sports Permanent Secretary
Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win and joint secretary Department of Traditional
Medicine Director General Dr. Daw Yi Yi Myint reported on the status of

by the President’s Office on 7 December 2017 with six members, including the
Vice President, who were assigned six duties. In order to conduct the assigned
works successfully, a work committee and nine sub-committees were formed.
Starting in 2000, the conference has been held six times in Yangon and 11 times
