Union Minister Nai Thet Lwin receives Tibet cultural delegation

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Nai Thet Lwin received Mr. Zhaing Yun, head of the China Tibet Research Centre and director of the Institute of Tibet cultural delegation, at the Ministry’s office yesterday morning.

During the meeting, they discussed raising the standard of socio-economic sectors, preserving the traditions and heritage of ethnic races, dissemination of the literature and languages of ethnic races, development of mutual benefits of the relations between Myanmar and the Tibet Autonomous Region, and cooperation in keeping with the interest of the ethnic races of both countries, it was learnt.

The Union Minister expressed sincere thanks for the People Republic of China’s stance on international affairs, and its efforts in supporting Myanmar’s course toward national reconciliation and peace.
