State Sangha Maha Nayaka Sayadaws and Rector Sayadaw receive China Tibet Research Center delegation

State Sangha Maha Nayaka Sayadaws and Rector Sayadaw of Theravada Buddhist Missionary University received a Tibet cultural delegation led by the head of China Tibet Research Center Department yesterday morning and afternoon.

In the morning, head of China Tibet Research Center Department led a Tibet cultural exchange delegation to a meeting with Theravada Buddhist Missionary University Rector Sayadaw Dr. Bhaddanta Nanda Mala Bivamsa and heads of departments sayadaws in the central hall of Theravada Buddhist Missionary University, Mayangon Township, Yangon. Matters relating to teachings conducted in the university and China Tibet culture were explained and discussed. In the afternoon, the delegation met with sayadaws led by State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee member Sayadaw Thanlyin Min Kyaung Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Sandima Bivamsa and the sayadaws explained about the works of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee, status of works on promotion and propagation of the Sasana, Theravada missionary works in Myanmar, teaching of “Pariyatti” and the practice of “Patipatti”. —MNA
