SG Min Aung Hlaing at fourth graduation of female army cadets

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thray Sithu Min Aung Hlaing attended and addressed the 4th Intake Women Graduation of the Defence Services Army Officer Training School in Hmawbi, Yangon yesterday.

The Commander-in-Chief was saluted by the graduating cadets, who then stood for an inspection by the Commander-in-Chief. The cadet company then conducted a quick march and slow march past the Commander-in-Chief.
Next, the Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief presented the best cadet award to cadet No. 21, Khin La Pyae.
In his speech to the women cadets, the Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief said the Officer Training School is taking in graduate females with an aim for women to participate in national defence duties and to train and produce female officers. Those who passed are now serving in the Tatmadaw army, navy, and air as female officers as well as in support forces. Some female officers have already passed the special forces (female) courses, while some female air force officers are starting to train as female pilots. The cadets who are graduating now need to take on assigned duties based on the training provided said the Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief.
Later in the evening, Tatmadaw Commander-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the dinner honouring female officers who graduated from the 4th Intake. The Senior General greeted each graduating female officer and then shared dinner with them and their families.
