The sixth day of the 2017 Mid-Year Myanma Jade and
Gems Emporium was held yesterday morning at Mani Yandana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi
Taw, attracting local and international gem merchants. 813 jade lots out of
2,300 with a base-price of 1000 euros and above were sold to local and foreign
gem merchants.
The 813 jade lots were sold under an open tender
system and fetched a total of about 50.019 million in euros. Thus, a total sold
out amounts for the 32 gem lots are 0.766 million in euros and total sold out
amounts for the 1812 jade lots are 87.806 million in euros until now. A total
of 4,416 local and foreign gem merchants attended the fourth day of the
emporium.
They were seen viewing the displayed gem and jade
lots and submitting their tenders into the tender boxes.
The 2017 Mid-Year Myanma Jade and Gems Emporium
continues till 21 December. On 18 December, jade lot Nos. 2301 to 3450 will be
sold. On 18 December jade lot Nos. 2301 to 3450, on 19 December jade lot Nos.
3451 to 4600, on 20 December jade lot Nos. 4601 to 5750 and on 21 December jade
lot Nos. 5751 to 6685 will be sold under open tender system.
The 2017 Mid-Year Myanma Jade and Gems Emporium
exhibited a total of 6,685 lots with two division in basic price; above 4000
euro and above 1000 euro under an open tender system.
