For the
resettlement of Rakhine State, families of civil service personnel, businessmen
and others made donations to the Ministry of Natural Resources and
Environmental Conservation.
Families from
the Ministry and from the Myanmar Timber Merchants Association, a timber making
furniture group and a timber arts group donated Ks21.9 million and Union Minister
for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation accepted the donations.
The donated cash
was transferred
to the Vice Chairman of UEHRD, Union Minister Dr. Win Myat Aye, and
certificates of honour were given on behalf of all the donors. — Myanmar News
