Myanmar just
pleased with the second position in the Group A of the 2017 AFF Futsal
championship as host Vietnam defeated Myanmar 3-0 in Phu Tho indoor Stadium in
Ho Chi Minh City yesterday night.
Both Vietnam and
Myanmar have already secured to the semi-finals but the Group A top spot was
still up for grabs in semi-final of 2017 AFF Futsal Championship.
Both teams
played with their great efforts with showing caution in their offence, anxious
to play counter-attacks.
Vietnam got the
starter at the 12 minute mark by a fast shot of Phung Trong Luan. Myanmar’s
Naing Ye Kyaw scored in the close range in the 25th minute but Vietnamese
keeper Nguyen Van Huay was quick to block the shot.
Myanmar players
tried to level proceedings but the Vietnam defence deterred their every
endeavour.
Myanmar’s Pyae
Phyo Maung kicked straight at 38 minute but the ball went slightly upward from
the goal bar and the game was ended with unsatisfied 0-3 result for Myanmar.
According to the yesterday’s result, Myanmar will play against ASEAN futsal
power house, Thailand while host Vietnam will face with Malaysia in the
semifinals of the tourney on 1 November.
