Union Minister Dr. Myint Htwe visits patients wounded in terrorist attacks

The Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr. Myint Htwe and officials visited Sittway General Hospital yesterday and encouraged patients who were wounded by the extremist terrorist attacks in Maungtaw.

During the visit, the Union Minister met with health officials and stressed the importance of promoting health knowledge to the patients.
“As the number of patients increases, more physicians who are needed in the hospital and will be filled as soon as possible. It is assumed that public healthcare is weak, the outpatients are increasing in the hospital and when the public healthcare is well enough, the workload of the hospital and patients in the hospital will reduce. The needs for the investigating diseases will also be fulfilled”, Dr. Myint Htwe said.
The Union Minister also discussed matters of psychological promoting and honouring of the staff currently working in Buthidaung and Maungtaw townships.
