State Counsellor receives foreign delegations separately

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, received Mr. Bill Richardson, Chairman of the Richardson Center and former Governor of New Mexico, the United States of America, and a delegation led by Mrs. Anuradha Gupta, Deputy CEO of Gavi- The Vaccine Alliance and accompanying parliamentarians from Denmark and Sweden separately yesterday at her ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting with Mr Bill Richardson, they cordially discussed matters relating to the promotion of economic relations, investment and cooperation between Myanmar and the United States of America.

During the meeting with the delegation led by Mrs. Anuradha Gupta , they exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and the Gavi in the ongoing immunization programme, as well as its future cooperation and assistance in the sector. — Myanmar News Agency
