Host Myanmar under training for AFF U-18 Championship

In preparation for 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship, Myanmar U-18 national football team is being trained in Yangon starting from Sunday said Myanmar Football Federation web page.

The 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship is the 14th edition of the AFF U-19 Youth Championship, organised by ASEAN Football Federation. It was hosted by Myanmar for second time and the first time was in 2003 co-hosted with Vietnam.

Myanmar drew out group stage in previous season and the Championship will be played in September 2017. Eleven out of the twelve member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation will take part in the tournament featuring two groups, five teams in one and six teams in other.

Myanmar U-18 team is being camped till next month.

Myanmar schedules to play with Italian giant Inter Milan U-18 and Myanmar National League’s Shan United Club in August to gain better team understanding before the tournament. The team will be headed by its Head Coach Bun Berli.
