NPE becomes champion of Union Minister’s monsoon football cup

News and Periodicals Enterprise won the trophy of Union Minister for Information’s monsoon football cup yesterday after defeating the Information and Public Relations Department 2-1.

The final match was held at the Wunna Theikdi Sports ground and among the spectators were Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint, officials, staff and families of Union Minister’s office, Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV), IPRD, Printing and Publishing Department (PPD) and NPE.

After the match, Union Minister Dr. Pe Myint and Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung presented the cup and cash prize to NPE team. Second and third prizes were given to IPRD team and MRTV team by Director Generals U Myint Htway and U Maung Pe respectively.
