Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor arrived at the neurological care
unit of the Yangon General Hospital at 11 am yesterday to ask after the health
of U Tin Oo, patron of the NLD, giving words of encouragement.
Dr Aye Ko Ko, superintendent of the YGH and responsible persons briefed the State Counsellor regarding U Tin Oo health status; after that the State Counsellor cordially talked with indoor patients receiving medical treatment at the neurological surgery units.
U Tin Oo, patron of the NLD who has recovered from illness recently, is expected to be discharged from the hospital at the end of June. It has been learnt that he is required to do physical exercises at home till he can regain normal movement.
U Tin Oo, patron of the NLD has been hospitalized at the YGH since 18th May because of a cerebrovascular disease. On 6th June President U Htin Kyaw and First Lady Daw Su Su Lwin visited U Tin Oo, as did Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on 3rd June. It has been learnt that this was the second time the State Counsellor had paid a visit to U Tin Oo.
